Description:	Knox County Public LibraryIndiana Memory Marriage Book H:1882-1889. Half bound Black fabric cover with brown spine corners. Various repairs consisting of clear and black fabric tape holding book together. Back cover has large areas where board surface is torn off, exposing cardboard interior as well as numerous gouges, scrapes, scratches and peeling tape on spine. White rectangular label affixed to cover with clear tape states:(in typewritten text) “MARRIAGE RETURNS”“1882-1889”(in ink) “H-44”On the Inside front cover there a hot pink label of instructions pasted in the middle of the end paper titled: “SUGGESTIONS TO COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER.” This label gives Instructions “for indexing County, City and Town Board of Health” The pages of the book are divided into columns with horizontal and vertical gridlines alternating in pink and blue print. The pages are numbered 1 through 310, having a printed page number on the top right corner of each page. There are blank front and end papers.Top of page is stamped: “Wm. B. Burford, Manufacturer, Indianapolis.”With the following titles:Printed in Shadowed font interior filigree:Left Facing Page: “RECORD OF RETURNS OF MARRIAGES”Six Columns (reading left to Right):First Column:“Record no.”Second Column:“1.
