November 27th 1809: The parties appeared and Judgment on trial for complaint for $30.00 and $2.66 in costs. Subpoenas were issued for William Jones, Esq, Walter Willson, Esq, and Andrew Starnater to appear in the Court of Common Pleas the last Monday of July 1810. They were to give evidence on behalf of Abraham Decker at the suit of Isaac Miner in an appeal from the Justice of the Peace in a plea of Trespass. The Subpoenas were issued by R [Robert] Buntin, Clerk, CPKC on July 20, 1810. They were executed by John McCandless, Sheriff KC with $2.27 1/2 attached fees for serving the Subpoenas. On July 23, 1810, Buntin issued Subpoenas for Elihu Stout and William Barker to appear in the Court of Common Pleas the last Monday in July 1810. They were to give evidence on behalf of Abraham Decker at the suit of William Miner. They were executed by James Crow, D. Sheriff with $2.64 fees attached for serving. The last document The clerk will enter this appeal and suit dismissed by my order. July 30, 1810. Signed by the mark of Abram Decker, Jr. and witnessed by Gen W. Johnston. According to the Minute Book of the Knox County Court of Common Pleas 1807-1810 page 252: During the July Term 1810: The Defendant appeared and filed an order signed by himself to dismiss the suit on motion. It was ordered that the Plaintiff recover from the Defendant his costs and charges of the suit.
