The file contains the court record, signed by General Johnston, of Emison and Holland, administrators of the Christian Graeter estate vs Charles Soudriette [Sudrate]. Included are two promissory notes and one account record. According to the record, a summon was issued on February 1, 1833 and executed by Zac Pullian on February 4, 1833 at a cost of $ .12 1/2. The summons return was $ .30 and transfer of the case cost $ .25. Total court costs $ .67 1/2. On October 25, 1829, one promissory note was signed by Charles Sudrates mark and the note stated that he would pay Christian Graeter one dollar. It was witnessed by Europe Graeter. A second note written on April 12, 1830 was written for a sum of two dollars for value received and witnessed by Europe Graeter. At the bottom was written error by $ .18 1/4. An account sheet of Christian Graeter, indicated that in 1830, 5 loads of wood were delivered for $1.25 and in 1832, 5 days of work were done in the garden for $2.50. Total of $3.75. |
