The file contains a court transcript, one summons, and a promissory note. These documents are related to the suit the administrators of Richard D. Prices estate brought against William Welton for ten dollars and seventy-nine cents in March of 1833. A complaint was filed on March 28, 1833 by John Hollard and Martin Robinson the administrators of Richard Prices estate, against William Welton for a debt of ten dollars and seventy-nine cents. The case was moved to the Probate Court by Samuel Hill. A listing of court costs of two dollars and forty-nine cents was detailed on the transcript. On May 12, 1835, John Setzer was issued a summons by A. D. Scott to testify on behalf of William Welton. The summons was executed by John Purcell. Also included in the file was the Promissory Note signed by William Welton to Richard Price for ten dollars and twenty-nine cents. The note was witnessed by A. Gardner |
