Ky., has moved to Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Knopf
will be remembered as Miss Anna Flood.The Gamma Gamma, Omega and Mu Zeta
sections will entertain the members of the
league at a tea, on November 21st, at the asso¬
ciation rooms.KAPPA KAPPA.Miss Margaret Ellis entertained the Kappa
Kappa section and the pledges Saturday after¬
noon, October 25th. The guests were: Misses
Theo Sauer, Doris Drake, Loretta Kelly,
Geneva Smock, Florence Hurt, Gladys Mc-
Clung, Susan Miller, Katherine Walsh, Hazel
Broadstreet, Hazel Kiefner, Marguerite Dun-
kin, Patti McCullom, Doyne Koonce, Marie
Carter, Marguerite Kisner, Zelpha Burkett,
Alice Bollington, Jammie Delay, Gertrude
Leonard, Helen Jones and Edna Glick.The Kappa Kappa section held its initiation
November 1 at the home of Miss Hazel Kiefner,
511 Chestnut. After the business session a de¬
licious three course supper was served. The
following girls were made members of the sec¬
tion: Misses Patti McCullom, Marie Carter,
Jammie Delay, Helen Jones, Gladys McClung
and Marguerite Kisner.LLAMARADA.The active members at the beginning of the
term were the Misses Gertrude Force, Luella
Fulmer and Grace Nantz. The sorority and
their guests were entertained at an informal
tea, given at the home of Miss Grace Nantz,
followed by a theater party at the Grand.On October 28th, the first degree of initia¬
tion was given, at the home of Miss Grace
Stokes. Misses Addie Marris, Helen Trent,
Kathryne Nantz, Kathleen Neumberger, Daisy
Shields and Leatria Houchin were initiatedinto the mysteries of Llamaradism. The usual
Dutch lunch of wieners and onions was
served. The members present were: Misses
Margaret Lahey, Hazel Wodlen, Gertrude Mc-
Comb, Luella Fulmere, Gertrude Force, Grace
Stokes and Grace Nantz.Miss Eunice Asbury, who has been a member
of the Lamarada sorority for several years, is
again in school, and we sincerely hope she will
be one of our active members.Miss Margaret Hardy has visited us several
times recently, her school having been closed
on account of diphtheria.Business meetings of the sorority are held
every alternate Wednesday at 3 :30 P. M.M U ZETAS.On Monday evening, October 27, the Mu
Zetas met at 624 Sycamore street to initiate
their new members. An enjoyable evening was
spent by all, even by those being initiated.
Light refreshments were served. The new
members taken into the section were: Reba Ar-
bogast, Marguerite Allen, Leone Caldwell,
Esther Newton and Zoe Wininger. Miss Blon
Smith is a pledge member.On Friday evening, October 31, the Mu Zeta
section entertained at the home of Miss Esther
Newton, 46 South Thirteenth and One-half
street. The house was appropriately decorated
for Halloween frolics. The girls appeared in
fancy costumes.Various diversions were enjoyed, the most
interesting being fortune-telling, bobbing for
apples, marsh-mallow toasting and chestnut
roasting. Miss White read an amusing paper
on the future lives of the guests. Just before
the Halloween refreshments were served, there
was an enjoyable surprise. Several of the girls,
assisted by professional comedians, presented
an original minstrel show.Prof. Schockel and Miss Ryan were invited
to act as chaperons.The members of the section present were
the Misses Arbogast, Allen, Costelow, Provines, |
