Description: |
The bottom half of this letter is missing, but the author is believed to be Dumont; the letter is numbered 29 and appears on the list of letters from Salomon to Badollet. In this letter Salomon says he is disappointed to hear that Badollet is feeling discouraged by the effects old age is taking on him; Salomon suggests that he dictate his letters to his son instead of writing them himself. Furthermore, the Magistrate has returned from London, Salomon talks about politics, and the social committees are a flurry of activity. |
