The building shown above stands at 226 W. Lexington Avenue, and services were first held there in the summer of 1896. This church was the third home for its congregation--meetings were first held in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Chamberlain and then in a smaller building on the corner of Pigeon (Lexington) and Third Streets. |
