Trinity Methodist Episcopal church

Description: The Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church shown in this photo is the second, larger structure built to house its congregation. It was built on the same site as the original, at the corner of Second and Franklin Streets, and served the church from 1889 until 1960. The congregation would move on to a third new building on Jackson Blvd., and this building would be purchased as administration offices by the Elkhart Community Schools until 1970, when it was finally torn down to make way for a new county building.
