Description: |
The Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church built this structure on the site of its original building at the corner of Second and Franklin Streets. The building served the church from 1889 to 1960. The church moved to a new building at 2715 E. Jackson Boulevard, where its congregation is still worshipping as Trinity United Methodist Church. The building was purchased and used for administration offices by the Elkhart Community Schools until 1970 when it was torn down to make way for a new county building. This photograph was taken from the top of the Monger Building. See also epl_photograph_a0049_01 and epl_photograph_a0050_01. |
