St. Pauls Methodist Episcopal church

Description: The cornerstone of St. Pauls Methodist Episcopal Church was laid May 6, 1910, at the corner of Beardsley Avenue and Edwardsburg Road. The congregation had formed in 1873 but had outgrown its two former meeting places, making this structure necessary. This church is located at 405 W. Beardsley Avenue and was designed by noted architect E. Hill Turnock. In 2003, St. Pauls was awarded a preservation grant by the Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana for a feasibility study of the 1910 former parsonage attached to it. As of 2021, the church is called St. Pauls United Methodist.
