This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Here Apartments fire. 3rd alarm at 3900 Shadeland. Inquiry about injured and missing. 2) Asst. Chief asks dispatch to call General Hospital and request the injured firemen (stepped on nails) are treated and sent back to 3900 Shadeland as fast as they can. 3) Associated Press checking on the Here Apartments fire. 4) 1020 West 28th for an unconscious woman.
