Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) West 32nd fire. Woman hangs up. 2) 2511 North Park, lawnmower. 3) 3128 Winthrop. C.W. Hiott owner. Stove overheated. No loss. 4) Fight at Hendricks and Mile 3. Redirects caller to the police department. 5) False alarm BBQ grill fire between 57 and 58 on Keystone. 6) 881-2521 given as the Perry Township Fire Department number. 7) Fire on Moore Street in the 2100 block, the old Bell Theater. 8) 3839 North Central possible attempted suicide, police and ambulance. 9) 1610 Bundy Place, seizure. 10) 1051 Eugene, house fire. 11) Mr. McMaster inquiring about missing and accounting list the 3900 Shadeland fire. 12) 855 West 27th, woman unable to breathe. 13) 2339 North Pennsylvania, Apt 4, woman cant breathe, possibly pregnant. She fell out. Sending police car first. 14) Water back up into sewage. Redirected to police.
