Labor Day Parade 1930

Description: First entry is ENOS Local 5179 float with small American flags mounted on each side of the hood. The bed of the truck has picket fence on the side with small American flags at each end. There are 2 men and woman seated around a square table with another woman standing in the bed of the truck. Next entry is a pick-up truck decorated with small American flags with men seated in the back under a sigh that says___ have poverty. Next is a high school band with rows of union workers marching behind them. There are crowds of people on both sides of the street which are lined with flags. There is one man filming the parade from the back of a rumble seat. You can see the following buildings: J.C. Penny, Purdy Confectionery, McCulloughs Cafe, Universal Market Meats, Massey Shoe Store, Applegath Jeweler, Economy Variety Store, and Peoples American National Bank.
