Labor Day Parade, Princeton, Ind., 1928

Description: Photograph of a car decorated all over with white crepe paper and sprays of flowers on the hood, roof and down the sides of the car making its way down State Street. It is followed by a decorated truck with a flatbed. The flatbed has decorated archway and there are young ladies riding on the float. The side of the float has the letters S and Eon it. Behind the float is a string of model A cars, trucks and delivery vans. There are people lining both sides of the street which is decorated with flags. There are people sitting in the upstairs windows of the J.C. Penny store. Other stores seen in the photograph are Purdys Confectionery, McCulloughs Cafe, Massey Shore Store, Economy Variety Store, and Peoples American National Bank.
