First entry is Style Shop float. There is a flag draped over the hood of the truck with Style Shop sign at the top. On the flatbed of the truck are two ladies in the current fashion with a dog and a basket of flowers. Behind this float are numerous automobiles. Some have signs on the side and some are decorated with streamers. There are crowds on both sides of State street which is decorated with the American flag at intervals. You can see the following buildings: Economy Variety Store, Walsh Decorating Co., Prudy Confectionery, McCulloughs Cafe, Universal Market Meats, Book Shoe Shoppe, Applegate Jeweler, J. C. Penny Co., Peoples American National Bank and the sign for Greek Candy Store. |
