Following are the calls on this dictabelt: Male caller reporting a bedroom fire at 3788 Rockville Road where he fell asleep with a cigarette in hand reports trying to get children out of the home, outside of city so dispatcher called other fire department to respond; Dispatcher Cooper calling Adam’s A La Carte requesting a truck to come to Fire Headquarters at Alabama and New York St. as soon as possible, for the men returning and going out, requesting buns and donuts; Female caller reporting apartment building filled with smoke at 1227 Park; Male caller reporting a fire at B&G Machinery at the corner of Dorman and Michigan; Male identified as Ronald Newman caller reporting an apartment house fire at 1651 College, caller reporting from 17th and Belafonte, trying to hold the caller on the line; Female reporting a fire at the Maytag Laundromat at Dorman and Michigan dispatched Task Force 9 at 4:27am; Code 4 has been lifted, all stations asked to return to normal procedures; Female reporting fire at 26th and Guilford, Engine 2, Engine 22, Engine 14, District 1, dispatched; Truck 27 needed a battery; Engine 22 requested Power and Light Company on the scene at 26th and Guilford .
