Description:	This image shows the interior of Griffins store in Corydon, Indiana, and features its clerks standing behind the counter. Left to right are Ruth Grove, Jessie Wagner, Mary Jane (Jennie) Griffin, and Minnie Wheat Shuck. At the time of this photo, Mary Jane Griffin (1874-1961) and her brother Daniel P. Griffin (1885-1975) were the last surviving children of Patrick and Helen Porter Griffin. Their father established the family business in 1897, and their nephew Frederick P. Griffin continued to operate and manage the store into the early 1980s.
