Griffin family behind counter at Griffins store, ca. 1950

Description:	Griffins dry goods store in Corydon, Indiana was always a family business. Shown here behind the counter are (L-R) Maurice Griffin, Daniel P. Griffin, Frederick Porter Griffin, Mary Jane Griffin, Olive Griffin, and Charlotte Rupp Griffin (Maurices wife). Maurice, Daniel, Mary Jane, and Olive were siblings. Fred is Maurice and Charlottes son. The store operated on the square in downtown Corydon from 1897 until 1983.
