Griffin siblings, 1948

Description:	The five Griffin siblings in June 1948. Left to right are: William Maurice Griffin, Sr. (Maurice), Mary Jane (Jennie) Griffin, Helen Griffin OLeary, Olive Griffin, and Daniel Patrick Griffin. Their two other siblings, Annis and Margaret Griffin, had died in 1904 and 1934 respectively. The seven siblings of Patrick and Helen Porter Griffin grew up in the same house as their mother, the Porter-Griffin House on East Walnut Street, just off the courthouse square in Corydon, Indiana. With the exception of Helen, all worked in the familys dry goods store on the square. Margaret, Mary Jane, Olive, and Daniel resided in the family house most of their lives. Daniel, who died in 1975 at age 90, was the last Griffin to live in the home.
