Description:	This file contains a recognizance bond, a court cost bill and 5 subpoenas in a court case brought against George Miner to answer to a felony complaint by Henry D. Wheeler. Both Miner and Benjamin Beckes were bound for $50 each and Miner was to appear before the Knox County Court of Common Pleas. The bond was acknowledged and signed by justice of the peace Walter Wilson on April 20, 1811. The first subpoena called for Reuben and Polly Johnson to appear on the first Monday of August. The subpoena was witnessed and signed by court clerk Robert Buntin on July 31, 1811 and executed by Parmenas Beckes at a cost of $1.19. Wheeler to give evidence against Miner in a plea of larceny. This subpoena was dated August 6, 1811 and witnessed and signed by court clerk Robert Buntin. The court cost bill was for the July term 1811 and totaled $4.31.
