Description:	This file contains a subpoena and a presentment in a case brought against Elihu Stout by the Grand Jury for failing to do his duty as justice of the peace. The presentment states that on September 8, 1810, Peter Jones assaulted Thomas White in Stouts presence. The subpoena calls for Thomas White to give evidence against Stout. The subpoena is dated March 18, 1811 and witnessed and signed by court clerk Robert Buntin. Deputy sheriff James Crow executed the subpoena.
