Labor Day Parade, Princeton, Indiana, 1926

Description: Photograph of the first vehicle going down State Street is a car decorated with corn stalks and flags with two boys dressed in overalls, shirts and straw hats riding on the running board. There is a sign on the front of the car with word Patoka Twn on it Behind this car is a truck with a flag on its roof and bunting on its hood. There are young women and men riding it its bed with a sign and patriotic bunting on the sides. This is followed by two cars, a truck, two horses with riders, four cars, a decorated truck and car. The street is lined with people and flags. You can see the following store fronts Economy Variety Store, Purdys Confectionery, McCulloughs Cafe, J. C. Penney, Walsh Decorating Co., and Peoples American National Bank.
