This is a black and white photograph of the aftermath of the fire which destroyed the Greene Township school building in Parke County, Indiana in 1991. Built in 1923, the school ended the one-room school system in the township. The school operated from 1925-1967 with seniors graduating from Turkey Run High School beginning in 1956. The building was sold in 1968. This item was donated by the Don McCue family. |
