On April 25, 1844, J. P. Reynolds puts a lien in the amount of One Hundred and nine dollars and seventy four cents against Julia Sims’s two homes located on lot number two hundred and seven in the Borough of Vincennes. The lien was for $109.74 worth of work and building materials he furnished at the request of Julia Sims. The deed for the lot was recorded April 25, 1844 in the Knox County records deed book N, pages 143-144 by Robert Buntin, Recorder. The lawyers for Reynolds was Allen and Carr. A subpoena was ordered to be issued to Julia Sims by Wm. R. McCord, Clerk, and it was executed to her by Abraham Smith, Sheriff on May 17, 1844. |
