Knox County Court, Samuel Thorn and Alain N. Tracy vs William Sims, adm. of Edward Sims, 1837

Description: On October 19, 1837 a summons was issued against the defendant, William Sims for the debt of $23.54 cents with interest and cost. The debt was issued aginst the goods and chattles of William Sims and ordered the debt to go against his property. The summons was filed by Jonathan Collins, J.P. John P. Reynolds, filed for the use of Hugh Dock on January 11, 1838 before Martin Robinson, Esq. J. P. J. P Reynolds for use of Hugh Dock, seeks $35.67 ½ cents. Witness to this court paper was Alexander D. Scott, Clerk, on Jan. 17, 1838, witness was A. D. Scott, Clerk and William R. McCord, D.C.
