Description: Folder 2734 in Box 48 of Knox County Circuit Court records at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House holds two documents in the case of White vs. Smith, 1821 (part 2).This case, ongoing from folder 2733 is also one of debt litigation. Smith had still not made a payment to White so once again, White went to the court to complain. The two documents in the file are the updated version of a new letter to the sheriff to find Smith and bring him in, and a copy of the original transcript of the original hearing. When the letter to the Sheriff was returned, the same comment appeared on the back, that Smith did not live in Knox County.
