On Feb. 10, 1807 Benjamin D. Price comes before Robert Buntin, Clerk of the Knox County Court of Common Pleas Indiana Territory and brings a woman named Milly Gorden, age 60. Milly was brought into this territory from Kentucky and she is to serve Benjamin and his assignees for a term of twenty years. He is to provide Milly with sufficient clothing, lodging and washing according to her degree and station and at the completion of her term she is not to become a cost to the county. |
