The firstmeeting was held in the association rooms onFriday evening, Oct. 25. Your editor was surprised to see so many Seniors out to this firstmeeting. It really began to look as if the management wouldnt find seats for all of them. This shows that the Seniors are alive to thenecessity of arousing some class spirit this year. After the business part of the meeting -hadbeen concluded the class was favored by thefollowing program:Reading Miss HerringReading Miss DaviesPiano Solo .. Miss WinegarAfter the program of the evening the Sophomore and Senior classes united for a socialgood time. And in that assembly might havebeen seen many of the fair women and bravemen of the good old Hoosier state, mostlyfair women. And, as is always the casewhen the dignified Seniors assemble, someonestarted the light fantastic act, and—w7ellthen the loud and deep voice of the janitor washeard declaring that the lights would go outin five minutes—no not a moonlight, simply aclass being thrown into the street one hour before the Deans law says they shall all behome. |
