Afterthe business part of the meeting was over theclass listened to the following program:Reading Miss SteepletonViolin Solo Miss NeukomPiano Solo Miss FlahertyMitchell Quartette.After the program the class enjoyed a general good time until the silvery chimes of thecourt house bell rang out the hour of ten. Thenthe Seniors reacted past images of a certainoffice situated on the main hall of the Normalbuilding, just east of the bulletin board, anddrew the conclusion that an adjournment wasin order.What have the Seniors to be thankful for?Many things. We won the Inter-class Cidermeet. The way we outdid that College Coursewas great. We are going to drink cider on theJuniors and Sophs. If—? We are going tohave the best basket ball team in school andevery Senior is going to turn out and see themwin. And dont forget to root. And we aregoing to set a mark in the year 1912-13 thatSenior classes in the past have never reachedand Senior classes in the future will have towork hard to equal.Seniors, Cider, Rah! Rah! Rah!COLLEGE COURSE.In answer to a summons duly posted on thebulletin board, the men of the College Coursemet in secret session in Prof. Currys room,Friday afternoon, Nov. 8. The fact that it wasa secret session should have been stipulatedon the poster, for it was necessary to eject oneNormal Course Senior, who came ignorant ofsuch an intention on the part of his CollegeCourse friends. No important business wastransacted at the meeting, but the part of theCollege Course in the cider meet was discussed, the various events in which the CollegeCourse men were to be entered were enumerated, and a mighty resolve was taken to conquer or die.The College Course students gloried in another evenings diversion on Friday evening,November 15. Of course, it was a completesuccess. Indeed, it has been termed by somefew enthusiastic members as being a howlingsuccess. At least, no one had to use an eartrumpet to find the place.The social committee followed its usual custom of having an amusement entirely new.Something totally different and better, whicheveryone could enjoy. Furthermore, this saidsocial committee succeeded in its attempt, asanyone who was there can testify. The natureof the program was as follows.Beautiful, living post cards, combined withappropriate music, played the chief part on theamusement bill. And now7, you in your simplicity, ask what there was amusing in that?Dear reader, a tour of the world was made onthis happy and never-to-be-forgotten evening.Among some of the places visited were: England, Sweden, Germany, Holland, France,Spain, Italy, Turkey, Japan and then a tripacross the Pacific. These living post cardswere shown for each country (especially thefair young ladies of each land), and as theevening progressed Mr. E. J. Hemmer waxedlouder and more enthusiastic in his applause.No one seems to know whether the climaxreached in these pictures was intentional ornot. Whats the use of becoming personal anyway? Nevertheless, the question has beenasked (and as yet no one has answered it), asto what made Knauth snicker in that lastpicture.But this did not occupy all the meeting.Immediately after the last scene, the wholeassembly of one accord joined in playing the
