Drills, songs, readings, recitations,clug swinging and dialogues mpde up a very interesting program, consisting in all of twenty-fournumbers.Ott Casey hurried into the library from thechemistry recitation and excitedly asked the librarian if she could refer him to a book on ModernMatch Making. After much blushing the librarian referred him to a new book in 814, entitledAn Indiana Girl. It was now time for Casey toblush, which he did in a very creditable manner.When explanations were completed Mr. Cunningham had appeared on the scene and gave the reference wanted.Ida Maxfield visited her parents at Vincennesduring Thanksgiving vacation.On Friday night of the Thanksgiving holidays, Mrs. Cox gave a taffy-pulling for the students of her club. Games and music made anevening of unusual enjoyment for those present.The girls at 640 Eagle street, joined by Mrs.Cunningham, gave a reception to the foot ball boysafter their successful game with Danville Normal.Music, refreshments and games made the eveningone long to be remembered by the boys.Miss Bessie White, through sophomore, visitedMiss Sarah Schafer during Thanksgiving vacation. Miss White has sixth grade work at Pendleton, Ind.Miss Edna Regan, 02, of Terre Haute, who isteaching in Anderson this year, spent Thanksgiving vacation with her parents in this city.Mr. Everett Sanders visited the Normal, November 22nd and 23rd.
