The game was spiritedand full of interest, but at no time was the resultin doubt.The Danville team scored on a safety, while theNormals made their touchdowns by clean end runsand heavy gains through the line. length ofhalves, 25 minutes.The foot ball team played their last game withthe T. H. H. S., November 22nd, and were defeated by a score of 6 to 0. The game was hotlycontested from start to finish and is said to havebeen the best game played in the city this season.The return game with the Central Normal College which was to have been played here Thanksgiving day, was called off on account of the inclement weather.The foot ball team showed remarkable developments during this season, and it is to be hoped thata number of the squad will return next year. Prof.Kimmell deserves great praise for his efficientcoaching. The boys all feel very grateful to himfor the knowledge of the game which he so cheerfully taught them. . .
