JuniorHallie Pedersen was not surprised by the win orthe large margin. Weve been getting better, and our team is really solid, she said.During the match, Pedersen achieved herpersonal best for a nine hole game with a scoreof 39. Pedersen was proud but she saw the winas a team effort. Our team came together as acohesive unit and dominated, said Pedersen.Senior Hannah Wright felt that she wasconfident and not intimidated by the competition, and that the game was simply part of the teamsroutine. Wright hoped that going to sectionals, regionals, and state would also become a regularoccurrence. My personal goal is to go to statethis year, said Wright. After the win againstNorth, it appeared that the Panthers were on theirway to making that goal a reality.riantigBHSSSeven out of Bloomington Souths eight fallsports teams beat cross-town rival BloomingtonNorth during rivalry weeks August 26 tothe winner:boys cross countryboys soccerboys tennisfootballgirls cross countrygirls golfgirls soccervolleyball(in sets)SOUTH7-1I wasnt hugely surprisedbecause South is awesome, but I was very excited!— sen/or CarolineFunkhouser
