I was in school plays inelementary school, but it never struck meas an interest.Q: When you get out of high school doyou plan to keep acting as a hobby orpossibly go into it professionally?and Im learning Spanish.Q: Do you ever dream in Bulgarian?A: I used to, but I dont as much anymore.The people in my dreams used to speakBulgarian, but now they speak English.Q: Did you have a culture shock whenyou moved here?A: I took Englishlessons inBulgaria, so I knewthe basics when Icame. The schoolshere are differentand the structureof classes isdifferent. Theculture is differentand I had to learnabout it.Q: Where are you originally from?A: Bulgaria.0: Why did you move here?A: My father had been here before on ascholarship and we entered a green cardlottery and we were accepted to come tothe U.S.Q: What languages do you speak?A: Im fluent in Bulgarian and English,Q: What do you do in your free time?A: I play the violin at I.U. and I spend alot of time doing that. I like to spend timewith my friends. We go downtown, go tothe movies and the mall, or whatever.Q: How long have you been playing theviolin and how often do you practice?A: Ive been playing for eight years. I try topractice about two hours every day, and IQ: What do youthink being an actor says about yourpersonality?A. Initially, I would say it means you areoutgoing and loud. It also shows you havediscipline and that you are passionate.Q: Do you have any personal goals as aTheater South member?A: A goal of mine would be to make surethat I dont get a sense of superiority,because anyone is welcome to act.have lessons.Q: How do you feel when youre giving aviolin performance?A: I feel nervous at first, but then I kindof try to ease into it and I try to expresswhat I can with the music.43 |
