John T. Bryant letter to Samuel G. Bryant, undated

Description: The letter is heavily damaged, so it is difficult to read the contents of the letter, but John Bryant mentions his desire to go home and also some movements by Pope’s army and the fact that he will probably be in a fight within the next couple of days. He also complains about Copperheads and wants news from home, especially in relation to the existence of copperheads at home.
