Across the face of the ticket from upper left to bottom right is stamed the words EVANG ST MATTHEW CHURCH. Top line reads EXCURSION to Fern Grove. Under the picture Ladies Society of the Ev. St. Matthews Church. next line: Friday, July 28, 1899 Childs Ticket 15 CTS Bottom two lines: Steamer Columbia leaves foot of First St. at 8 a. M. sharp, returneing leaves Grove at 6 oclock, P. M.
