Description: Newspaper advertisement, c 1924, advertising the newly opened Rose Island Resort, as a place to spend Decoration Day. The advertisement incorporates a drawing of the steamboat, America, used as a ferry from Louisville to the resort and states that three trips to the island would be available on the holiday. It includes information both for the holiday and every Sunday on the times of the trips, cost, and entertainment.
