Interview with Charles Aina, a police officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department. The interview was conducted by Miranda Hale on February 20, 2022, as part of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library’s project on the impact of COVID pandemic and protests on individual lives. Aine discusses how he first learned of COVID, how COVID personally affected him, his family, and his job as a police officer. He also discusses the Breonna Taylor shooting, his reaction as an officer, the reaction of other officers, and how the shooting affected the department. |
