Interview with George Bere

Description: An interview with George Bere who was age 33 at the time of the 1937 Ohio River Flood. At the time he worked at his brothers grocery store on 7th and Meigs Avenue. The interview tells of moving his family up the hill to his home, where they lived during the flood and were surrounded by the flood waters. The thumbnail of George Bere was found in the 1920 Jeffersonville High School Yearbook.
