Description: |
This photograph shows two young visitors braving the cold winter weather to make an excursion into Island Park. The bridge appears to be the original Island Park structure which stood between 1882 and 1888. The island was considered a prime spot to visit for picnics and outings. The park was made up of seven acres. Today Bicentennial and High Dive Parks are connected to Island Park by other bridges. |
