Northwest corner of Main & High Streets

Description:	Sykes Dry Goods occupied 227-231 South Main from approximately 1885-1923. It then became Drakes Department Store until it was destroyed by fire in 1955. The lot was empty for a few years before the building that currently occupies the space was built.
