Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Possible heart attack at 1856 S Keystone. 2) Garage fire at 2231 Broadway. 3) Caller requests information on Perry Township fire department. 4) Ambulance needed for an injured boy at 509 S Warman. 5) House fire in the 1900 block of N Alabama, maybe 1927. 6) Furnace fire at 1310 W 32nd St. 7) Medical emergency at 215 North East St. 8) Sick boy at 1926 E Sumner. 9) Fire rescue requested to assist a fallen man at 722 E 70th Place. Recording ends at midnight.
