Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Two calls reporting residence fire reported at 2204 Ruth Drive. 2) Possible miscarriage reported at 1405 Sturm Avenue. 3) Garage fire reported at 542 Douglas Street. 4) Caller Jerry Hill called to follow up on an investigation of Wake Up Station fire. 5) Possible stroke reported at 835 Fayette Street, Apartment 2. 6) Caller asked who was killed at Wake Up Station fire. 7) Caller requests Chief Fulmer. 8) Medical help requested at Wishing Well Tavern, 343 Massachusetts Avenue. 9) Caller provides update on injured fireman treated or admitted at Marion County General Hospital. 10) Fire reported at gas station near 34th Street and Capitol Avenue, dispatcher thinks its a prank call.
