Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. 5600 Block of East 38th Street, fire reported at 9:00. 2. 1531 East Kelly, woman locked out, 9:30. 3. Captain requests rescuer team inhalator for elderly woman at 42nd and Central, St. Joan of Arc. 4. Request to contact Arson Chief Bollinger, more information forthcoming on fire on 1239 South Meridian possibly a cover-up for a homicide. 5. Heart attack at St. Joan of Arc church. 6. Call about bicycle registration. 7. At 1023 South Randolph, inhalator for heart attack. 8. Call from Doctor Currie, call about burning death at 1239 South Meridian. 9. Fire reported at 1243 South Meridian, Meridian. 10. At 3933 Parker Court, an over dose reported at the Brook Apartments. 11. 924 East Georgia ambulance needed for heart attack. 12.
