McCormack, George vs Gabriel Greenhaw

Description: A note is filed by Jonathan Johnson on November 3, 1810. He states that he had issued a writ in the amount of $90 in damages in the case of George McCormick vs Gabrial Greenhow. A summons is issued to the Sheriff to take to court Gabrial Greenhaw and bring his body before the judges the last Monday of November instant. He is to answer unto George McCormick on a plea of trespass and $90 damages. The note is witnessed by Robert Buntin, Clerk of Knox County on the third of November 1810. Bail is required in the amount of $80. James Johnson, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas states that George McCormack made an oath before him that Gabriel Greenhow is justly indebted to him in the sum of $80 or more. A recognizance bond is filed for Gabriel Greenhow and John Small who are firmly bound unto John McCandless, Sheriff of Knox County in the sum of $80 on the 10 th of November 1810. Gabriel Greenhow is to appear in court and give evidence the last Monday of November to answer to charges of trespass and damages. The bond is signed by Gabriel Greenhow and John Small.
