Description:	The file contains a promissory note Peter McKneley [McKneeley] wrote to A.D. Scott or A. Smith in 1831. The promissory note Peter McKneley [McKneeley] signed with his mark. It promised to pay A.D. Scott or A. Smith ten dollars within ninety days of February 11, 1831. The note was witnessed by Noah Ashley. On the back of the note $5.00 interest was added to the debt.
