Elias Rains vs William Mieure, administrator

Description: A promissory note dated May 13, 1837 signed by William Mieure and owed to Elias Rains was filed. The notes states that William Mieure borrowed $42 from Rain and notations on the back state that he had made payments as of July 19, 1937 of $15 leaving a $30.32 balance owed. The note was filed February 21, 1837 by W. R. McCord, Clerk. An account the estate of William Mieure has with Elias Rains for $8.15 dated February 10, 1838 to March 12, 1838 for brandy, whiskey, a ladies mirror, and a smoothing iron. The account was filed February 21, 1842.
