Description:	A promissory note dated September 11, 1837 and owed to William Mieure for $500 due with interest for 1 year was signed by Peter Von Smith. The note was signed before Martin Robinson and witnessed for a total of $539.08 with interest. A listing of $17.87 owed to the court for fees in the case William Burtch and William Heberd vs Peter Von Smith, administrator of William Mieure. A receipt was dated May 21, 1840 in the sum of $12.75 paid for execution of fee bill in the cases of Peter Von Smith vs Burtch and Heberd and issued by the Supreme Court. The receipt is signed by Zack Pulliam, Knox County clerk of the Superior Court and filed February 21, 1842.
