A list of subpoenas to be issued by Attorney Ellis on behalf of Samuel Setzer. James Setzer is to be brought to court on November 21, 1839 to answer to Sarah Mieure and B. M. Thomas on a plea of trespass. The summons is dated November 11, 1839. A summons to the Constable to bring George Goldman, Frederick Graeter, Elijah Graeter to court on December 14, 1839 to give testimony in the suit of Sarah Mieure vs Samuel Setzer on behalf of the defendant. The summons is filed December 9, 1839. A subpoena for John Marney, Jonathan Moore and Elijah Thorne to appear on December 14, 1839 to give testimony on behalf of defendant. A subpoena for Jonathan Morney, and Elijah Thorne to come to court February 14, 1840 to testify on behalf of the defendant. A summons for John Parker, George Goldman, John Moore and John Marney to testify on behalf of Samuel Setzer. They are to appear on the 2nd Monday, May 1840. A subpoena for John Barkman on behalf of Samuel Setzer is filed March 10, 1840. A subpoena for George Goldman is filed July 8, 1840. He is to testify on behalf of defendant.
