Laurient Baradon vs John Pumphrey and Daniel Lane

Description:	On May 16, 1815 Laurient Baradon sues out of court John Pumphrey and Daniel Lane. A recognizance writ is issued on May 16, 1815 by R. Buntin, Clerk, on the back it states this suit is brought on a note of hand not under seal for $60 bail. John Johnson is the attorney for plaintiff. A writ is executed by Deputy Sheriff P. Henry on the first Monday of June 1815. Defendants James Dunkin, Frederick Sholts come and enter themselves for special bail for the set sum. The defendant Pumphrey conferred judgement for sum of $60 with interest from 1st day of December 1814 until paid with stay of execution till 15 October. A judgement of $68.61 is due from John Pumphrey and Daniel Lane with it being the money due with interest to Larient Baradon, signed R. Buntin, Clerk C.C.K.C. A writ is executed by Sheriff B. V. Beckes and a bond is set in the following figures: John Pamphrey, Daniel Lane and Frederick Sholts are bound unto Larient Baradon the sum of $128.23 dated November 23, 1815 if not paid by April 28, 1816 the amount of $69.11 1/2 will be due plus $3.45 the cost of the Sheriffs legal fees. Daniel Lane puts up his property as bond. The location was a lot in the Vincennes bound on the S.W. by a street on the N.W. by a lot now owned by William Jones on the N.E. by a lot of L. Baradon and by a street on the S.E. which shall be executed for 60 days per John Johnson signed April 29, 1816.
