Description:	Civil court case in which Andrew Purcell was suing Antoine Marchal, administrator of Robert Hamilton, for $64.00 debt and $40.00 damages from an unpaid bill obligatory. The bill obligatory, made in Vincennes on 1801-07-05, was between Andrew Purcell and Robert Hamilton. According to the Minute Book, the plaintiff was ordered to recover $78.86 plus costs. The amount of the debt on the summons and the complaint do not match.
